Tara has a heart of gold and loves the Lord with everything inside of her! She does a great job leading her team and the church congregation in worship

Service Presentation/Sound Team

Our Media Team is comprised of tech-savvy volunteers who handle the computers and board that runs all the songs, videos, and scriptures during our services.

Lakeshore’s Young Adult Ministry is for college through mid-thirties adults. We offer seasonal small groups, various events, and opportunities to serve the community.

We love our community! Our Outreach team strives to provide ways of opportunity for the church to serve the people in our own community. We serve our community by providing meals for families in need during holidays, planning free community events, visiting the elderly in our local nursing home, and much more.

Right to Life

This is Lakeshore’s pro-life ministry! This ministry is designed to bring awareness to the church and the community referring to abortions. We also look for opportunities to help expecting mothers in their time of need.

Foster Care Ministry

Lakeshore’s Foster Ministry is designed to help foster families in our church and in our community through the fostering process.

Local Outreach

We serve our community by providing meals for families in need during holidays, planning free community events, visiting the elderly in our local nursing home, and much more!

Heritage Manor Ministry

This special ministry team visits Heritage Manor in Mandeville on the 3rd Sunday of every month at 9am. The lead the residents in a time of worship, prayer, and fellowship. This is a great opportunity to put Matthew 25:35-36 into action!

Life Groups at Lakeshore Church

Life Groups are small gatherings of people who meet regularly to connect, grow spiritually, and support one another in their faith journey.

Whether you’re new to the faith or have been walking with Jesus for years, Life Groups are a vital way to:

  • Deepen your relationship with God
  • Form lasting friendships
  • Study the Bible together
  • Serve and support one another
  • Experience personal transformation

Interested in leading a group?

Leading a group doesn’t have to be intimidating or overwhelming. Whatever God has made you passionate about, you can lead a group around that common interest. From there, relationships are cultivated, and discipleship follows. So whether you’re interested in serving the community once a month, trying a new restaurant with friends, or studying the Bible, you can gather people together to build relationships. We will give you all the training, resource, and support you need to succeed as a leader!

At Lakeshore Church, our heart is for women—both in our church family and in the community—to experience a deep connection with Jesus and with one another. We nurture this through a variety of Bible studies, small groups, events, and retreats. Our women’s team is dedicated to reaching women of all ages and backgrounds, creating spaces where everyone can grow, connect, and be encouraged in their faith.

Monday Night Women’s Small Group

Our Monday Night Women’s Small Group meets every week at 7 PM. They are currently working through a study on 2nd Corinthians. This is a great way to develop new friendships and be encouraged in The Word.

Monday Morning Women’s Bible Study

Our Monday Morning Women’s Bible Study is a topical study, with new topics every three to four weeks. They meet here at the church every Monday at 10:00 AM. It’s a wonderful opportunity to grow deeper in your walk with Christ and connect with other women in the church!

Serena Melton is Lakeshore’s Women’s Ministry Director. She has been involved in Women’s Ministry for over 7 years and has a heart to connect all women in whatever stage of life to grow in a Christ-like sisterhood. She and her husband, Mikel, have three children–Avery, Aiden, and Sydnee.

First Impressions Ministry

It’s very important to us that as a new visitor you feel assisted and welcomed! From that first smile, to that friendly “hello”, all the way to homemade cookies at your doorstep! The “first impression” you get of Lakeshore says it all!

Service Opportunities

We are always looking for friendly faces to greet our members and visitors to Lakeshore. Please contact the office if you’re interested in serving in one of the areas below.

Greeters

Lakeshore Greeters are our first line servers that welcome you and your family into the building before and after each service.

Ushers

The Ushers are ready to help create a welcoming and comfortable environment once people enter the building. They are also available to help assist the pastors with their needs during service.

Information Center

This team is comprised of those who work the Information Center during our weekly services, answering various questions and helping people sign up for events.

Hospitality

Hospitality is our team that makes and serves coffee as people enter the building before and after services.

Visitor Center

If you’re a first-time guest, one of our staff members or pastors would love the opportunity to meet you at the Visitor Center located in the church sanctuary. We would also like to give you a “thank you” gift for attending service with us!
